Hi Strange,
I want to share my husbands's similiar story. He also was dx with invasive Bc with RC recommended. We interviewed 3 surgeons in 3 different states. When we made our decisions the surgeon ordered a immediate CT scan although 8 weeks prior a scan showed invasive only Bc. It came back as metastisized to liver and lungs thus ruling out the surgery as a cure. I would recommend a chest and abdominal CT to rule out metastatic disease if you haven't already done so. The Pathology report is certainly not always conclusive!

Best of luck to you!

I am a caregiver to my wonderful husband, Ron
