Discharged at last. My uro will see me next week to restart the neo-stretching (fun, fun, fun) He said that he hopes that we can avoid another setback like this one but that they do occur so don't be too surprised.

Here's hoping the new antibiotic kicks whatever it is but. Hoping you get home soon.

Update

fever seemed to break last night - I was due for more ibuprofin at 3 but my temp was 96.X and that is pretty normal for me. we kept an eye on it and I stayed cool till noon when it started to creep up again.
Infectious Disease doc (at 12 midnight) added another antibiotic after seeing some labs. Thus far, my blood cultures are showing some staph colonies. My uro thinks it is originating in my bladder but the urine cutures have not grown anything thus far.
He thinks at least another day here

I'm glad didn't try to tough it out through the weekend. Good job on staying on top of your health.

Wil,
Best thing you did was not wait. At least the Doc's could get a jump on it and get you back on your feet...
hope you are feeling better today....
