You should be fine,it is just fear of the unknown, when you do not know what to expect you get anxious.
I had 54 stitches removed, my incision was below and above the belly button right up to my ribs. I was dreading having the stitches out. They should use a tool and they will come out really easy, one or 2 may pinch a little.
Look after any open wound.
Good luck you will do just fine.

It was a tiny bit painful, but not bad compared to other things. It will go fast and then you will be staple free. Try to think of something else while it is happening.

Pete,
Don't worry, It's not bad. They have a tool that pops them right out. It somehow opens them up and they come right out. You will feel a little pull. Believe me you will be fine.
Get well

Peter,

I have had staples on my back several times, and I have also had 4 c-sections...I can tell you that something that I thought at the time, that turned out not to be the case...For some reason I assumed that the staples were like stples into paper that wrapped around the back....These are not the same. (Don't know if you had this thought too). They go in and come out the same way, straight out. The anticipation is totally worse...you will be fine. Most of the staples come out really easy and painless, sometimes there are one or two that pinch a little though.

You have such a great attitude
