Elavil another drug that bypasses nerve impulses with shingles and cheaper than Lyrica which Holly's insurance won't cover. Maybe she could request that one?

I took lyrica during a severe case of shingles which developed after my first TURB last year. It is a drug that reconnects the nerves and i felt it was pretty effective. Best of luck.
