Lisa,
Sorry to hear about your loss...for us gals, losing our hair is a big deal! Even though we know it's coming, it tough for most of us to actually experience it. When I lost mine, I became instantly envious of almost every other woman I saw. In six months, mine has come back in, thicker and very soft...like a newborn baby, and very curly....was aways very straight...plus all my hair that grew back all over, also came in very soft...so there is a plus side to this experience. Maria,
I did MVAC as Lisa, but I never lost my eye lashes or eye brows...so it sounds like we don't know how we will be affected until we get there. I was told by one gal I met during chemo that at some point she lost her fingernaiils but for me, the opposite was true, mine came in stronger...had always had weak nails prior to chemo.
What surprises await us during these medical adventures...we never know until we are in the middle of them. Melodie
