BCG update from URO today

Yes, that was an eye opener! The good take is the site is a wealth of info on bladder research as I bounce around it about once a month.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Guess I am just a cynic....but only in the United States would the talk at a national meeting be "how to bill for it!!"
I do understand that if they cannot figure out how to bill for a partial dose they probably cannot give it to a patient but REALLY?? I guess when I was down to 1/3 dose because of side effects my insurance got billed for a full dose.
