BCG Treatment Journey

Congratulations, Eddie! That's great news. 

Well, I just had my 3 month cystoscopy following my first 6 BCG Treatments and a cystoscopy followup.  Does that make sense?  Anyway, it's been 3 months and the Doc says all looks normal.  I guess that means I get to start a round of 3 new BCG Treatments starting Tuesday.  So far things are going along successfully for me.  I kind of dreaded this scope knowing that I have been just sitting around for the last 3 months waiting and was worried about the outcome.  I guess that's the process and I must have passed this test.  I hope you all are well.  If you are going thru more treatments, I hope that is going well.  If you are just waiting for the next step, I hope you can keep a good attitude and stay strong.  I'll post how my second round of BCG is going.  Until next week, hang in there.  Eddie

Thru the research I have done I think HANNAH is on the right track.  As I await my next Cystoscopy in 2 weeks and the start of treatments 7/8/9, if everything goes right as you all know, the thought is always there, is it going to come back.  My Doc says if it comes back we will go for another TURBT and another round of 6.  If that doesn't work she will step up the treatment to the Gem/Doce.  All we can do is roll with the punches as they come.  Stay informed of the treatment possibilities.  Stay Strong and keep posting.  It helps us all to have someone to discuss things with that is traveling along the same path as you are.  You are always in our prayers.  Eddie

Congrats Bill! Tumor isn't back, and seems to be responding to the treatments, I think thats great news. Reason to get out in the woods and celebrate this little victory.

If the BCG doesn't work, how about the Gem/Doce instead?
