What are the main complications for people with the first 6 weeks of BCG? What usually makes people shorten their treatment or take a break? Is the maintenance treatment harder generally?would you recommend short trips during the 6 weeks or is it best to stay local near the doctor? (needing to go visit an older relative ) thx L

Thank you, I can sleep better tonight. As you know, this whole bladder cancer thing is scarey. The more knowledge I have the more I know what to expect.

I never really felt BAD except for the day of and maybe the day after treatments.

Really, this is not that big of a deal.

No. It is meant to STIMULATE the immune system.

Does BCG treatment affect your immune system like chemo? In other words are you more susceptible to catching colds, flu, virus during treatment?
