My provider has BCG, but due to COVID, won't be treating right now.

Is BCG really in short supply? My insurance approved it but the Uro says it takes a long time to get the BCG.

Probably not compromised yet. If the TURB was May, normally you need to wait at least 4 weeks and my URO waited 6 weeks to start as you need to heal inside before instilling this agent.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

I was supposed to start my BCG treatments but my uro's office keeps telling me they are trying to find BCG because there is a shortage. Is this right? I had my resection in May and a bladder biopsy in June. Am I being furhter compromised by this delay?
