Two weeks ago my wife had an urine test done in which microscopic hematuria and abnormal cells were found in Cytology. We were devastated when we received the telephone call from the doctor reporting the results as highly suspect for Kidney or Bladder cancer. Fortunately, no masses were found in further testing and scans. In that time from the first call until we got the good news is a time that I would never trade for anything in life. It was a time for great reflection and after 32 years of marriage my wife and I grew closer. My message to all affected by this disease is always keep faith, always believe in the positive and never loose sight of what you need to do. Don't let the words It is cancer steal your life, there is so much living to be done with or without the disease.
