Hi. My dad is 73. He went for a physical 2 weeks ago and they found microscopic blood in his urine. 4 days later he saw blood and small clots in the toilet. He had a CT scan last week and a small growth was found on the posterior wall of the bladder measuring 1.2cm x 0.8cm. He’s scheduled for a cystoscopy next week. We are obviously scared this is cancer considering the stats on bladder masses. The urologist seemed to think this was “no big deal” and would be a quick fix. Are these smaller masses usually confined to the bladder lining?? What’s the outlook? My dads worried and so am I. any advice or stories would be great. Thanks.
