Welcome to the forum. Everyone here has a story that begins similar to yours. No doctors here, just a bunch of people supporting each other.

The good news is that you took quick action. You will be worked up to determine exactly the nature of the bladder mass. When we get THAT news , we mostly think the worst, an wind up on a site that has cancer in the site name.

The "good" news about bladder cancer, IF that is what it turns out to be, is that when bladder cancer is detected early, the chance of successful treatment is really high. You can read of lots of success stories here.

In all likelihood it will be a month or 6 weeks or so until you have a firm diagnosis and a plan. Stay positive, avoid worrying, (yea sure, like I was able to do that). Expect a series of tests that don't sound great, but are really not bad at all once yo have been there, leading up to a biopsy of the mass, and finally a pathology report that will lead to a plan to address whatever the mass requires.

Feel free to ask ANY questions here. Others have been there, we all started from ground zero..

A good reliable site for an overview of bladder cancer, see: https://www.cancer.gov/types/bladder
Not saying it is cancer, but the workup and possibilities are described.

Just got out of ER yesterday: blood in urine and CT scan showing 1.6x2.5x2.7 mass left anterior wall of bladder, possible malignancy. Don't know how to process these results. Visit to urologist tomorrow.
