Growler,

It will take the doctor to put the exam info and the pathology report together for you.

Sorry, but you will need to wait for the doctor to decide if further investigation or any treatment is to be recommended. Additional tests may be needed before you have a complete answer.

"No diagnostic features of high grade urothelial carcinoma are identified", sounds positive, but even that simple sentence fails to tell a complete story.

We all hate the waiting time. Stay positive, and try to not get caught up in worry until you know more. I couldn't help but worry, I hope you can avoid that.

Best,
Jack

Hello,
Unfortunately I am new here! I do hope to connect with others. I was left with a cliff hanger due to the holidays. First the Uro says that what he saw is no mistakenly cancer. Then he posted this and went on holiday.

So I guess I wait

A) The specimen consists of benign appearing squamous cells and
urothelial cells. Many of the urothelial cells show reactive
nuclear changes with distinct nucleoli. No large papillary
urothelial groups are seen with fibrovascular cores. No viral
cytopathic effect is noted. No diagnostic features of high grade
urothelial carcinoma are identified.
