Just getting home from Stanford for a Transurethral resection of the prostate, and TURBT with blue light dye. Biopsy revealed carcinoma still present in the bladder wall. I've already undergone a series of 6 BCG treatments. My Dr. recommends 3 more BCG treatments to see if it has any effect on the carcinoma. 20 to 30 percent success with additional BCG treatments. If they are not successful bladder and prostate removal is "highly recommended" So my question is how is sex possible after a radical cystoscopy and prostate and lymph node removal. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this situation. Any and all feedback appreciated. Thanks in advance for any comments or opinions.
