Hi, Haven't been here for a while. Just getting home from Stanford for a Transurethral resection of the prostate, and TURBT with blue light dye. Things went well but the next day after the procedures the foley catheter was removed and I was not able to urinate. A new foley catheter was inserted and all was well. That was Thursday. They told me to go home and remove the catheter in three days. That's tomorrow Monday. I'm really freaked out not being able to urinate was HORRIBLE! I guess tomorrow I should be prepared to head to the ER for a catheter fast. Or just go to the ER and have them remove the catheter and make sure I can pee. Lab results are supposed to be available this week. Dr Skinner told me the blue light little up some pink areas in the bladder which indicates CIS but I knew that. No tumors found.
Already been through a series of 6 BCG treatments. Possibly BCG maintenance. But I wondered if there is still an 8pm Sunday night chat room and if so how to participate.
