Dr. Wilson is Associate Professor at the University of Colorado medical school.

"Treatment Center" is a bit of a nebulous term. Some places which receive large grants from the NCI are called
"Centers." However, anyone can call themselves a "Treatment Center" including some rather questionable for-profit hospitals.

A highly rated medical school has faculty who have passed many tests of competence. The fact that Dr. Wilson is an Associate Professor means that she has passed all the qualifications for tenure which is not easy to do.

If I were in Colorado I would no doubt chose her.

Sara Anne,

Do you know if Dr Wilson's practice is considered a treatment center?

That I can't seem to find in Colorado, if not.
However from my searching, Dr. Wilson's is the best practice in the state of CO for BC. Are there any other great ones you might know of in CO?

I do not know Dr. Shandra Wilson personally, be she has an excellent reputation. I do know of others who have had her as their urologist for bladder cancer and they were extremely satisfied. It will also depend on your "chemistry"
with whatever urologist you pick...they will be your "best friend" for life!

Wondering about new Urologist I'm looking into was created by exsequor

Hello,

My current urologist is pretty good he performed my TURBT on Tuesday September 12th. Had Catheter removed Monday the 18th, and overall feel pretty darn good even with the weird itchiness I've had in my urethra (from catheter removal).

I have two uretal stents for the next couple weeks yet (one for kidney stone ; one for where the tumor was located) I see my urologist tomorrow for pathology. A little nervous, but holding it down pretty well honestly.

MY QUESTION:

I want to switch to a top urologist depending on tomorrows pathology outcome. The one I can find in Colorado is
Dr. Sandra Wilson.

Does anyone have any experience, insight or recommendations for this DR or any others in CO?
