I've been lurking on here for a couple of weeks and appreciate the insight and sharing that occurs on these pages.
I was prepared for the worst after my FISH test came back positive. My TURBT was on 5/30/2017. I hemorrhaged that night and had to go back in OR at 7am the 31st. My poor wife, she was up 37 hrs straight. One of my many blessings
Set to meet back up with my Uro (Houston Methodist --- I can't say enough nice things about the staff there) in early July to schedule BCG series. I'm very apprehensive about it. I trust the procedure, and I'm generally very pain tolerant.......but I've not done well with any of these catheterizations.
Speaking of many blessings, I had zero symptoms prior to meeting this new Uro. I was referred for a kidney stone incident I had on Turkey Day 2016. The original appt was for him to draw a 24 hr urine test to determine the type of kidney stone mineral I had. The day before the appt I passed rust colored urine.
One thing led to the next.
