If insurance is not a consideration and if you are free to go anywhere in the US I have several suggestions. USC. ( The University of Southern California) medical school Department of Urology is one of the top. MD Anderson in Houston and Memorial Sloan-Kettering in Boston as well as Johns Hopkins in Baltimore would also be good choices.

You should remember that while a neobladder might be your father's first choice it is not always possible to do this. But he does want to be at a center that can offer him all the possible options and most important of all the best possible result for a long and happy life

Wishing you and your family all the best

Sorry you and your father are going through this. Welcome to the forum.

I have no idea who "the best" is. You will fine many great places to be treated at. Going to one of the large medical centers near you may be where you should be, if you post your location a member will probably chime in with a suggestion for someplace close to you.

My name is Cristina and my father has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 bladder cancer 4 days ago. We come from Ecuador and are searching online for the best specialists in radical cystectomy and neobladder reconstruction.
Anyone who can recommend us a specialist? And also could you tell us about the experience of living with a neobladder?
thank you very much
