Thank you Lillian,

Glad to hear your success with both the Oncovite and BCG treatments. I'm taking 2 Oncovite tabs per day now and begin my 6-wk BCG induction this time next week. Hopefully they'll do the trick for me also. Best of luck and hoping for a good outcome on your cysto next month!

I've been taking Oncovite since June 2015 and have had no adverse side effects. I buy it through Amazon and pay about $25 for a bottle of 100. I take one a day, so a bottle lasts more than 3 months and cost is about $.30 per day.

I don't know if it helps, but it apparently doesn't hurt. I had my first cysto in Dec after my 6 induction BCG treatments and there was no evidence of disease (NED), and the bladder lining looked pretty healthy (I watched). I go back in March for my second cysto and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the lining will still look healthy and there's NED.

5/2015 4x2cm HG Ta Papillary TCC; 6 initial BCG followed by 3 sets of BCG maintenance. Ten scopes - all NED. Now at scope 1x year.

The vitamins can't hurt but, like anything else, moderation I am sure is a word of caution. Don't know if the podcast can be found anymore but, Dr. Denney or Dr. Grossman of MD Anderson handled a Q&A 7-8 years ago when I was early in my journey and the Oncovite question came up and he said they had no evidence that it actually did much for the bladder.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Thanks Anita,
Is Doug taking the high-dosage (4 per day) or just one per day? The Oncovite bottle says one capsule per day, whereas Dr Lamm recommends taking 4 capsules per day. As Sara Anne indicated, the Oncovite is expensive...$27 for 100 capsules.

Doug has been taking Bladder 2.2 for almost 15 years. No issues with it, except it is expensive...about $90 for 3 month supply.
