Henri, I'm so glad to read that you made it through your chemo before the holidays. I do hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you will have a Happy and HEALTHY New Year. I will be thinking of you on Jan 4 and Jan 5, and praying that you get very good results.
5/2015 4x2cm HG Ta Papillary TCC; 6 initial BCG followed by 3 sets of BCG maintenance. Ten scopes - all NED. Now at scope 1x year.
I just stopped in to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, and Happy New Year.
I have finished my chemo treatments and will go to MDA for a CT Scan on January 4 and will get the results on January 5. I am hoping for good news. If not, we will proceed with whatever protocol they recommend.
Thinking of all of you and wishing each and every one of you a speedy recovery from all your ailments.
Thank you, Lillian. I have been thinking of y'all too and have intended to post an update and just hadn't gotten around to it. I have had my second round of chemo and seem to be tolerating the chemo quite well. No major set backs. Of course, I have lost my hair (but still have eyebrows..fingers crossed). Last week, my husband caught some viral infection that's been going around. Of course, he gave I to me, so I have been fighting that. That three days (3,4 and 5 after chemo) that were really bad. Even ran a temperature but not high enough to have to go to the ER (They say 101).
I have my next round of chemo on December 15. Then the first or second week of January, I will return to MDAnderson for scans to see if we have made progress. Of course, I'm hoping for a miracle that I'll have kicked it, but really expect there will be further treatment. Just don't know if it might be more chemo or maybe radiation. Just pray for me!!
I'm praying for a wonderful, miraculous 2016 for me and for everyone here too.
