Hi,
My husband had the initial cystoscope to remove a large (7cm) tumor from his bladder last Monday.
Didn't ask stage as husband not ready to hear that - all a bit of a shock!
It is invasive so consultant(surgeon) is recommending having the bladder, prostate, etc. removed and a bag put in. Then if needed having chemo. Not sure if it is worth getting radiation/chemo first but so far have only seen a surgeon so have no idea.
We're wondering who to get a 2nd opinion from.
We live in San Francisco, South Bay area, California, and Stanford is up the road.
Can anyone recommend a good consultant to see? Maybe Stanford?
We're currently with PAMF
