Sorry I don't have anything to share about doctors in beautiful Wyoming and can imagine you may need to travel quite a distance potentially to access a major bladder cancer treatment center and specialist doctor.
We switched from our local general urologist to a specialist 90 miles from home after reading in the forum about the importance of working with a bladder cancer specialist.
My husband is 51 and we also had a January 2015 diagnosis of bladder tumors/cancer. The TURBT was performed 03-11-15 and we'll learn in about a week the type and stage of cancer.
Since our bladder cancer specialist is more likely to have "seen it all" and treated so many kinds of scenarios, I feel we will receive the most effective care and treatment. That has reduced the worrying significantly.
We have full faith in the specialist to guide us to the best possible outcome.
Wishing you well from Maryland.
