No need to apopolize... you are learning a new vocabulary with this. It is TransUrethal Removal of Bladder Tumor. You may not have had a TURBT per se but it would basically be what your uro called the biopsy. It is done under anesthesia and if visible tumors are present, they are removed with a probe with a heated loop on the end, along with surrounding tissues, and any other suspicious areas biopsied. The tumor/samples are then sent to pathology for diagnosis.
Did you have any of these painful symptoms prior to your initial uro visit, or only since your biopsy?
