This is a subject that is near and dear to many on this site. And usually a subject that is danced around... even here.

I would like to see some of the encouraging and truthful words that come out of this meeting posted here. It can help some of us here, who may be afraid to ask the question.

The first 2013 meeting of the University of Michigan Bladder Cancer Support Group will be Sunday Jan 20. The session is free and no reservation is necessary.

The topic of this meeting is "Can Bladder Cancer Survivors Recover Their Intimate Lives?" presented by Casey O'Gara, LMSW, RN and Certified Sex Therapist.

Optional group discussion from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm for patients that wish to discuss their experiences and give support to each other.

1:00-2:30 p.m. followed by patient to patient discussion from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm
