I just joined today and have already been treated like a family member . I have one other thread started.
But am already coming up with lots of questions. One of my first concerns is care or help after I come home from surgery. Im widowed and live alone ,never been a problem till now . I have one brother that lives about 3 hours away still young enough works full time ,other than that no family .I have read a lot on here about after care when coming home ,seems ya need lots of care and help,could someone tell me how much care and help I will probably need and for how long till I can manage day to day living.Im completely lost on what it will take and will I need someone around pretty much 24/7 for a while ? Just another thing for me to try and figure out ,this whole deal is pretty overwhelming at the moment .Doc says radical cystectomy ,with external ,thats about all I know for sure at this point ,see him this Fri with all the test,etc,etc result.
