Yes, I think that helps a lot but I think fixing the prostate is probably even more important.
On the fluid intake part, they mentioned that it was especially true for women.
The antioxidant thing (green tea mentioned, but I think there are a lot of things with high antioxidants that may also be beneficial) is also something important for all types of cancers.
I typically drank lots of water every day for years. It meant I was going to the bathroom constantly but I still did it.
That's especially important in climates such as Colorado.
Even now, in addition to about a liter to liter and half of water, I have about 2 quarts of crystal light decaf ice tea or lemonaide a day. Low calorie, no sugar and I like the flavor.
For a while (after initial diagnosis) I stopped coffee and all softdrinks (never was into pop much anyway--would have the occasional diet coke) and only had white tea. It is supposed to be even better than green tea. I'd make hot tea with it as well as make ice tea with it. Also still drank a lot of water.
Also took white tea/green tea capsules every day and COQ10.
For me, I think it was just too late to start all of this stuff. As a long term smoker, it was pretty clear that was the highest probable cause for me.
