SURGERY TOMORROW

I've had on my research hat lately. I've got my original tumor stuff going off to Genome Labs in Ca to determine the agressiveness of the original tumor cells and the sentinel node path is off to Dr. David Page at Vanderbilt the leading pathologist in breast cancer. Also found out that after a sterotactic biopsy or with lobular type cells some dead cells are transported to the lypmh nodes and just happen to be there but are not really markers..and i really like that one. So i'm going to ask for an ultrasound of the Axilla to see if there appears to be more positive lymph nodes and hope there is not of course but to see if radiation alone would take care of them. My new plan of action.
and thanks for the support....Pat

Pat,

Glad to hear your news! I could make a 'joke' about Americans not being able to count but that would be in bad taste!! :P

Dearest Pat,

I am so pleased that the surgery went well and welcome back home!!

My positive thoughts have been flying your way and I will continue to send them.

I hope you dont have to wait too long for the final decision of any or hopefully no next steps in treatment.

Your humor through this just amazes me. Sad account for teaching when someone can't keep track of 1,2,3.

Hope it can be quickly resolved with all the expert help you have.
