Just needed to share this....
January 9th is my birthday and at school we pick names, bring in snacks for the staff, and celebrate each others birthdays.

The Social Studies 6th grade teacher had my name and brought in goodies today. Why share this?

She went online, looked up bladder cancer, and brought in food that was supposed to be good for people with bladder cancer. WOW!!!

When I thanked her, her response was, "Every day I am celebrating that you are here with us."

I wanted to weigh in again in this subject. It just seems to change as time goes by. As time goes by, I talk less and less about it. Very few people make comments and the few that I receive are complimentary. " You look ......so good! Like you never were even sick!"

My wife and I very rarely talk about it. We know it is forever there, but we have resumed our life. But, about once a week, we will look at each other and just "know"
A few months ago I hauled a heavy bunch of stuff to the attic and she commented that "I was Back!"

Maybe we should bring this subject up every couple of months and talk about it

My next Cysto is 2 weeks today. I have had 8 clears now.
It's is 3:00 am and here I am, can't sleep worrying the next one. Don't think the worrying ever stops, or does it.
I just hate this disease.
