Oh Pat, what a bummer. I, too, am a two-timer, but breast cancer came first in 1996. Mastectomy (my choice). Fortunately, it was caught early so no chemo, no radiation.

In fact, cancer DOES NOT PLAY FAIR. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1995, then my breast cancer in 1996, his lung cancer in 1997 (to which he succumbed in 1999.) And
so when bladder cancer hit me two years ago, it was almost unbelieveable.

I will tell you that the breast cancer community is WAY out front in support stuff. "Reach to Recovery" volunteers in my community were there to see me before treatment and there was always someone to talk to.

And those of us who have "been there, done that" are HERE for you too

Pat I too know many survivors including my sister who at 39 had aggressive BC into 4 nodes. That was 6 years ago.

I will be hoping the best for you.

I have been struck twice, and beat it twice.
Testicular cancer in 1990, bladder cancer 5 months ago.

This sure is like being hit by lightning - twice. Knowing you, and your tenacity for finding the best doctors and hospital for breast cancer, I know you will get through this!
Like Julie, I know 5 Breast Cancer survivors.
Our Forum won't be able to help you on the medical side of Breast Cancer, but we sure will be here for you, just as you are here for everyone.
