Why don't you start a new thread with this information. My sister was posted at Camp LeJuene during this time. She had kidney cancer 6 years ago. I have been nagging her to sign up and pursue this matter for herself.

Sorry to hear that Mike. Yes prostrate is covered as lung and other health issues. But this propably belongs on another tread. Just wanted Larry to get the information. Sometimes my fingers type before my mind gets into gear.

Al,

My father-in-law had prostate cancer and I think he got something from that through the military. He's a 30 year retired colonel and was exposed to agent orange. Not sure, but fairly sure they covered some things that they might not have otherwise or gave him some other sort of disability payments or something...

Sure is.

As I do more research I'm finding out several other areas are even worse. I don't believe 90% of what I find so I make every attempt to get documentation before I pass it on.

www.vba.va.gov/bln/21/benefits/Herbicide/AOno1.htm

lists prostrate cancer as one of the disability for agent orange but not bladder cancer? I need someone to explain that. If you look long enough you will find several appeals (turned down) that make for interesting reading.

Oh well, "smoke em if you got em" and if you don't police up someoneelse butts.

Maybe I'm venting again today..sorry everyone
