The size of the tumor does matter in prognosis and treatment...

John, I just went back and looked at your thread....the deepest biopsy layer was the lamina propria????? Why????

I did read the pathology that says "low malignant potential." If I am reading this correctly, this means that you are NOT T1 but you are Ta. Of course, this is good news,but...

Hello Tate,

I am relatively new to the list; I was diagnosed a few weeks ago and while I did get my Path'y Report; ( Pathology Report-Mixed Emotions on Superficial BC ) I never did get staged and/or graded; I expect to get notice from Johns Hopkins in that regard very soon.

I did want to direct one question to you and that is: In light of your early stage and low grade; why is it that your going for your first BCG Treatment?...is this purely precautionary?...I suspect my stage is t1 and I have a follow-up Cystoscopy in July; I suppose each of our Drs. is aggresive in their own way.

Thank you Clara, I will because it makes me feel very proud to go to school and working toward/achieving a degree. BTW, I just finished Algebra (YUCK) and I got a 95. I am so happy!!
