It sure is, Joe. And I love playing at home in my nightgown :) Don't always feel like getting dressed and going downtown to play. I live about a mile from the casinos here. But still , I like to be at home all comfy and play.

I play alot of Texas Holdem but when Mr. Bush had to sign that offshore bill it wiped out alot of great poker sites. We still have some but it isn't the way it use to be. Everything today is getting messed up somehow or other. Joe ;)

He was a gynocologist. Wasn't even supposed to do much when he examined me , but found a tumor and decided to biopsy it. Urologist was really angry he did that to me. So he is going to do it again, and right this time :)

I play online poker to occupy my mind , been working very well. You're right , the waiting is tough ::)

tahoemom the first Dr. you saw if he wasn't a Uro what kind of doc was he. And also I know how you feel but unfortunately the waiting is the hardest part and there is nothing you can do about it. I had a T3 G3 invasive tumor and I had the chest x-ray, the abdomen and pelvic scan, and I had a left hip replacement right before I found out I had BC so I had to get an MRI because the new hip thing was blocking their view, then they saw lesions on my liver so to be sure another MRI for that, and then the good old bone scan. So with all these tests being done with a high stage tumor some days I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my mouth. I had the chemo first and then the RC and today I am cancer free as of now. So hang tough and try to occupy yourself the best you can find something you like to do and the time goes by faster I wish you the best of luck. Joe ;)

I think I have gotten over the freaked stage mostly. It would have been great to have the correct diagnosis the first time and not have to start on square one though. I am more mad than anything else. grrrrrrrr

The new urologist will do a second opinion. He was very upset with my first doctor.
The guy wasn't even a urologist! Nice clinic I went to, huh? Mama mia!

Good luck to you on your test and best of luck for a speedy recovery

hugsssss, Jeanne

Dear Tahoe!

I completely understand how you feel! I'm going myself tomorrow to my Urologist; I had my Cytoscopy less than 10 days ago; the waiting is worse than the disease...while I'm not as frantic as I thought I'd be...I just can't stand to wait.
My Dr. says that experencing gross hemituria is a sure sign of bladder cancer!...so despite having had prostate cancer 3 years ago and surgery at Johns Hopkins, I'm a little apphrehensive just the same...I found that once I get the facts and continue to do research to find out all I can and also joining groups or forums like this list, is the best medicine for myself and peace-of-mind.

My appointment is tomorrow, Thursday and I'm a little nervous, not so much for myself but for my son and wife...we want to grow old together and see my son do his thing. I know I'll feel better once I get the news; I know you will feel better also. You must get a second opinion; you must read-up on possible treatment options; and you must get the best Drs. even if it means travelling to do so.

I'll be thinking about you and others; I'm so glad I don't have to go through this ( again ) by myself.

Keep-in-Touch,
John
