I seriously dont know...ive lost all will to live...the only option left is a cystoscopy..
im 19...do i have a tumor in my bladder?
First, a cystoscopy can rule out a tumor and help you move on, but it is not the only thing that a cystocopy can check for. The doctor can see if there's any inflammation in your bladder causing your symptoms. So go ahead with it and be done with it. The information we have is too limited for any of us to know if every test has been done. We don't know if the urologist has evaluated your stream, checked your bladder capacity, checked for post void residual.
What we do know, is that those of us here on the forum were ready to fight for our lives when we found out we had cancer, and yet you, at 19, are talking about giving up without even having such a diagnosis. I can't help wondering, whom do you turn to for support? I know you're not a kid, but are you talking to your parents, other family members, friends? It's great to turn to us for what support we can give, but it sounds to me like you need some more hands on support. Your stress, anxiety, and depression could be contributing big time to your symptoms.
Have you considered getting couseling? No matter what your final diagnosis is, it sounds like you could use some help in coping... with the future, and with the here and now.

I'm more concerned with the fact that you sound so seriously depressed about the unknown. Get a cystoscopy. Soon. They only take a few minutes, and then either you'll be massively relieved or ready to make plans for your treatment.
You've certainly read the importance of getting checked by a doctor with experience, so I'm assuming you've been to good doctors. What are they telling you about your diagnosis?
Aside from the frequent urination and your concern about a tumor--and I know that's a big aside--what is the rest of your life like right now? I know that fear and apprehension are probably dominating your thoughts right now, but I really worry when someone says they've lost their will to live, especially since you haven't even been diagnosed yet. What Pat said is very important; you might be having a reaction to medications you're taking for something else. Please, please let us know the results of your cystoscopy--I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
John...questions....any burning or pain when you urinate..is the urine cloudy? Have you been checked for infection...urinalysis?....Are you using any nasal decongestants? Are you on any tricyclic anti-depressants? Tricyclics are the following drugs:
Please don't lose the will to live....if you are on any one of these drugs it could be causing your problem.........tell me more......Pat
