My husband is scheduled for his first BCG treatment during the last week of November. I will of course be there with him that day, but will he need someone to accompany him and/or to drive him home after each treatment? Should someone be home on those days in case of side effects? I want to be there for each of his appointments, but there may be times where that is not doable due to my work schedule. The standard BCG schedule is my other question. This time he is receiving the 6 week induction round, then I think the first maintenance round will be 3 months after that. Is there usually another round 3 months after the first maintenance treatments, or does it usually just go 3,6,9,12,etc assuming that there is no reoccurance?
