it sounds like you are doing well at this point you are only three weeks out. Of course talk to your doctor about your pain level if there is any concern. I know I did some pain meds for almost six weeks but I had my urethra removed and a complete hysterectomy and am a big baby. Hang in there this too shall pass.

Mid line incision discomfort was created by Grateful girl

I had my uterus taken out along with my RC my staples came out after 2 weeks. Anyone else have a lot of pain in the area? It's healing well, there is no redness or swelling but man, it's tender. Low heat seems to feel the best for me and I'm taking Tramodol every 4-6 hours.I'm 3 weeks post op RC w neobladder.
