It's more fun for the other patients if you just drag the catheter bag behind you on the floor. Extra hosing makes it all the more interesting. :D

Good luck with the TURBT!

I feel okay by asking this possibly weird question...
What the heck should I wear to the hospital? It's day surgery but I'll have that cathater?
Should I wear a dress so It hangs, or does it get taped to my leg?
Are really baggy pants a good idea?

I'm impressed again at how many people get such quick action. Does it make a newbie wonder, "Is it THAT BAD to go so fast?" My first go round resulted in the cath-bag system for 10 days (male), quite a surprise. Getting started is good, and yes, it should help determine future activity. It may also determine your need for a second opinion of the findings. Good luck, and welcome to this crazy club.

Girl, you are on the ball. Now you need to sit back, relaxe, clear your mind, and do something fun tonight. :)
