Hi,
Thank you for your kind words to me, and your mother-in-law sounds as is she is amazing woman.
Having had bladder cancer, and lung cancer, yes I have the right lung removed, I always think of the people that have it so much worse.
I live in a very active community here in Miami, and there is a 3 mile bike/jogging trail. A few months ago I saw a man on a skate board with no legs, he was pushing himself with both of his hands moving the skate board. Seeing that man so determined to over come so very much made me realize how someone else can always have it so much worse, and to be thankfull for each and every day.
I work 9 hours a day in a very prestigious condo, and cath, every 2 1/2 hours and not at all concerned/embarrased, etc. of what I must do. Getting up at nite also every 2 1/2 hours also becomes a way of life. I get dinner every night and up a 4:00 a.m., get ready for work, do breathing exercises for my lung, and bicycle for 10 minutes. I also go to the pool for 20 minutes each night and walk and then one lap back and forth across the pool.
I am not trying to impress anyone, but want everyone that has "issues" in their life, be it cancer, or any health issue, to know "you don't choose what happens to you" "but you can choose how you respond".
Thank you again.
