Will Have 2 Tests To Get Done
Dr. Wein wants me to get a CT Scan of chest and also follow up with a bone scan. Now his nurse telling me there are no other tumors on my bladder and it is contained to one area I am hoping all goes well here. Then I have an appointment with Dr. Malkowicz at 12 PM next Tuesday. He is Dr. Wein’s colleague who specializes in constructing neobladders. So once again I pray these tests go well and just get in the hospital and get this surgery over with. I am nervous but I have been waiting awhile and now at least I know where I stand. I know my news could of been worst and I was really relieved when I heard there were no other tumors on my bladder. I am saying my prayers and hoping for the best so I can beat this. God Bless. Joe

Wendy I pray your right & happy you have heard of Dr. Malkovivz—-Pretty much have the stage Wendy and yes the waiting is the hardest part but I guess most of you here all been thru that. I am just praying as I said Dr. Weins nurse said the tumor is in one spot and they saw no tumors on the rest of bladder that made me feel somewhat better.. But still my bladder must go no questions there on my part. If these tests check out well then I will see Dr. Malkovicz at noon next Tuesday and I gather setup the surgery. No one looks forward to surgery but at this point I just want to get in and get started and I know I have a long road ahead of me but then with the grace of God I may have a good chance to beat this. I am not ever giving up just not my nature. Thanks Wendy For Everything, Joe
***Also the stent they put in left side after Cath fell out the stent is working and so is my left kidney now. Then when I went in the first time for TUR and then told later that night I had to back in for stent that was a real bummer but it had to be done. Just as future things don’t go just right if they gotta try something else I am also preparing myself for this. If everytime I hit a bump and wanna stop then wheres the fight that’s how I am viewing things

Hi Joe,
I’ve heard of Dr. Malkowicz, great things. I know it’s extremely hard right now to get through the next few weeks; waiting for tests and staging is the worst time of any cancer diagnosis. Time flies, though -it’s true and before you know it you’ll be in the recovery phase and getting on with your life.
