My urologist has recommended and referred me to a highly regarded center and specialist, Dr Skinner at Stanford Medical Center, I am comfortable with that.

I have family members that were treated at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and they are nudging me to consider that facility. .

Does anybody here know if CTCA is a good place to go for a RC.

Bladder cancer treatment is all about volume. Dr. Skinner at Stanford is one of the top places in the country for bladder cancer. CTCA is a commercial entity offering a boutique cancer experience covering all cancers if thier insurance requirements are meant. They do put out great commercials don’t they? Like Sara Anne this is my personal opinion.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America is a for-profit chain of hospitals that specializes in treating patients with good insurance. They are not known for expertise in bladder cancer treatment. I should emphasize that this is my own opinion, and not an “official” one from the American Bladder Cancer Society.

I would definitely prefer Dr. Skinner.
