In that line, I have to share a “smiley”….

my husband was at the pharmacy picking up some meds, and the pharmacy technician, whom we know because it’s a small town, asked “Is there anything I can do for you?”

And he answered, “Yes, stop smoking!”

He didn’t think too much of it after that, but a month later he was in the same pharmacy, and the tech told him she had quit!

    Wow…the power of one.

Had smoked chicken for dinner, but not from our smoker….husband just got home from a week in the hospital with UTI.

Hi Stephany–your husband can’t go wrong smoking a chicken first. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

There are some great bbq books out there if he hasn’t done much grilling or smoking. I suggest almost anything by Steven Raichlen.

Please let us know how his smoking adventures turn out!

(I just sold my old smoker on craigslist. The headline I wrote for it was “Please Start Smoking”).

    Zach

OK, Zach….I bought a smoker for my husband for Christmas. It’s a small one, that fits on a table. What should he cook first?

You have a good eye, my friend.

We had a wonderful turkey dinner that night–I used chips of apple wood, and it was delicious.

Really…no manners at all!! Obviously word got around the goat community that you had great scraps. My brother up in Guinda has a similar problem only its with wild boars which by the way apparently taste really good…he just catches his New Years dinner!! :D Pat
