Chemo was not effective. We decided to not prolong her agony and we are now in hospice. Fortunately, we were able to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas with our son, daughter-in-law and two year old grand daughter, but it is hard–as you all know–saying goodbye to someone after 42 years.

I can not tell you how saddened I am by your news. I am sure that your days are bitter sweet at this time. I hope that you find hospice to be as great a comfort as my family has. Please know we are here for you and your family today and tomorrow and that you are in my heart and mind.
