TURBT done- now recovering
I had my TURBT yesterday and unfortnuely the tumor was a little higher on the trigone than the surgeon expected so I ended up with a catheter. Now I’m in the waiting game for pathology.

I had my TURBT yesterday and unfortnuely the tumor was a little higher on the trigone than the surgeon expected so I ended up with a catheter. Now I’m in the waiting game for pathology.
Honestly, the turbt was easy, it’s this F*ing catheter I can do without. Thankfully it comes out in a few hours.
Good that the TURBT is out of the way- hope you don·t have to wait too long for the results- that is always the worst part, once you have the results you know what you are dealing with and what treatment plans your team can make. Keeping fingers crossed for a good result,
