Even though 8/8/08 was the day I got rid of this cancer

I had to wait until TODAY 10/07/11 To get the Official Word.

I have been cancer free for 3 years!!!!

Yes…. after 2 weeks of scans, bloodletting, X Rays, Gamma Rays, Leeches, and Peeing in the cup. They have concluded…………. You will all have to suffer another 6 months of my “in your face” commentary and feedback. Poor you. I am indeed sorry

Thank God !!!!!!!

Just so I don’t get too high on my own self, I received news a few minutes ago that my co owner of the little race car….

[color=#FF0000][size=5]Stuffed it into the wall at Watkins Glen in his first session this morning! :(

But hey…. He’s OK (he better be; so I can murdalize him) And Life CANNOT be just roses every day.

Thank you All. I really appreciate the “family” this site has become. :) :)
I want you all to realize I am not bragging when I post an anniversary. I am letting everyone know that there is life after cancer! I was every bit as scared and confused when I heard the word “cancer” as all of you were (or are now)
Unfortunatly, I didn’t find this site until AFTER surgery. I just lucked into a Great Dr. who knew the protocol, and was a skilled surgeon.
Thank you all for your good wishes. I am returning those good wishes tenfold to all of you.

I still remember my first question. I was too afraid to even ask my Dr. and I never dared to discuss this with my family.
I just wanted to know if I was going to die of this cancer. Mike answered “You will most likely die of some other cause…. old age, hit by bus, skiing off a cliff, old age or hitting the outside wall in that crazy car of yours.

Thanks to all of you. You keep me focused on Life. Thanks.

    Now Mike………….. It’s your turn.

For ALL of you out there Who are wondering (Sent cards of concern) about the Caterham Super 7 that had it’s own health issues :( OK, so I am the only one who really had any issues about this.

I have to relay this GREAT STORY!

My wife is a designer of Window coverings(you know, drapes, shades, blinds; that kind of stuff) and She is Damn Good at it!
Anyway; She went to this customers house a while back. The woman of the house (THE BOSS) had just had a kidney removed due to cancer, and you can see where this conversation was going, can’t you.
Well…. one thing led to another, and they both had a cancer bonding session. Caregiver to patient.
Enter the husband. He is a race car mechanic and driving coach. My wife has a “You should meet my Husband! He has a car in need of a racing mechanic!”

    Voila!!!!!!

He can’t wait for our meeting Friday. He is ready to fix the car!!! :) We are happy again. :)

Just another positive that can come out of this cancer thing! Just when we think “OH woah is me” Suddenly…… TAAAADAAAAAAAAA!

Sorry for the crushing word count…. But things like this are giving me a “Twilight Zone” feeling.

    DoDeDeDe….. DoDeDeDe
