Sono demoralizzato
Salve a tutti, speravo di poter comunicare buone notizie dato
che non accuso disturbi e considerato l’esito negativo della citologia urinaria di qualche giorno fa dopo aver effettuato 10 instillazioni di BCG, ma purtroppo alla cistoscopia di controllo di oggi 14 novembre 2019 è risultato questo:‘ Al controllo la vescica è sostanzialmente negativa per recidive ma segnalo un’area iperemica sospetta della parete posteriore/cupola sulla quale eseguiremo una biopsia a scopo diagnostico per escludere la presenza di carcinoma in situ’.
Adesso, per la lista di attesa mi toccherà aspettare 2 o 3 mesi per effettuare la biopsia e sapere di che cosa si tratta ed essendo io molto debole psicologicamente so già che l’ansia mi distruggerà.

Ho buone notizie, sono riuscito ad avere il risultato del referto istologico la cui consegna era prevista per il 21 gennaio. Praticamente la macchia iperemica sospetta rilevata alla cistoscopia e che mi ha costretto a fare la biopsia ( la vigilia di Natale) non era Cis ma solo cistite. Grazie Sara, le tue parole positive mi sono state veramente d’incoraggiamento e come sempre hai avuto ragione tu perché la zona iperemica probabilmente è dovuta all’azione del BCG ” cistite da bcg”. Mi sento rincuorato e voglio rendervi partecipe della bella notizia augurando a tutti coloro che si trovano nella mia situazione ( TA G3 + Cis con 10 instillazioni di BCG ) di superare l’ansia e non disperare in simili frangenti perché il BCG può causare questo problemino ma alla fine è un vero salva vita. Continuerò con le instillazioni e i controlli serrati e vi terrò aggiornati. Un caro saluto Antonio

I have good news, I managed to get the result of the histological report whose delivery was scheduled for January 21. Thanks Sara, your positive words were really encouraging and as always you were right because the hyperemic zone is probably due to the action of BCG “cystitis from bcg”. I feel heartened and I want to share with you the good news wishing everyone in my situation ( TA G3 + Cis with 10 instillations of BCG ) to overcome the anxiety and not despair in such situations because BCG can cause this problem but in the end it is a real life saver. Grazie Sara, in effetti l’urologo mi ha detto che probabilmente è una infiammazione dovuta al BCG però essendo molto scrupoloso non può che accertarlo clinicamente. Speriamo bene. Grazie ancora le tue parole mi confortano molto. Saluti Antonio

Antonio, I appreciate that you are anxious about this. However the TURB is to EXCLUDE CIS….It sounds like the right thing to do, but your doctor did not say he thought it was CIS. BCG can cause this sort of irritation in the bladder lining (sometimes referred to as “BCG-cystitis”) but since it and CIS both appear as red spots on the bladder it must be tested.
I had a similar thing…it was biopsied and shown to be BCG-cystitis, not more CIS.

Antonio, apprezzo che tu sia preoccupato per questo. Comunque il TURB è ESCLUDERE la CSI … Sembra la cosa giusta da fare, ma il tuo medico non ha detto che pensava che fosse CSI. Il BCG può causare questo tipo di irritazione nel rivestimento della vescica (a volte indicato come “cistite da BCG”), ma poiché entrambi e CIS appaiono entrambi come punti rossi sulla vescica, deve essere testato.
Ho avuto una cosa simile … è stata sottoposta a biopsia e ha dimostrato di essere cistite da BCG, non più CIS.
