Something unidentified on MRI
I’m a 54 yr old women, diagnosed in September of this year with low grade papillary bladder cancer and had TURBT surgery Sept 17. Due to having many small tumors, I was advised to start BCG. I have had 3 so far and doing ok but have continued with my pre diagnosed symptoms of bloating, nausea, fatigue, etc. My dr ordered an MRI due to a mass on my ovary and some spots on my liver. The MRI showed that the ovary mass was just a cyst and the spots on my liver were just benign lesions. However, the MRI picked up something new ….an “enhanced nodule either arising from the roof of my bladder or located under my uterus.” I followed up with my urologist who said it wasn’t coming from my bladder and my OB/GYN said he didn’t think it was coming from my uterus. It’s about 4cm x 1.6cm. I was referred to the Cleveland Clinic for evaluation since neither of my doctors know what it is. It is located in the space where your uterus sits on top of your bladder so it is hard to tell exactly where it is originating from. Has anyone had something similar?
