SailorMan’s Surgery
Posted by balihigh on May 13, 2009 at 12:12 amI received an email from SailorMan today. He had his kidney removed and is still in the hospital but up and walking. He asked me to post that he was doing “okay”. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Balihigh

Laproscopic surgery sounds like the way to go for surgery. Now that you are off the pain meds your bowels will probably start to work again. Hope you are back home soon.
Hope I can chat with you Sunday.

ABLSCWell, Sometimes “stuff” gets in the way. I’ve had very quiet bowels and a lot of burping with some nausea so they’ve kept me thus far. I’m walking a lot and things might be starting to resolve themselves.
Pain at the operation site has been bearable, lucky for me since I had nothing for pain for over a day due to nausea. Now, I’m on Tylenol (regular strength) and doing lots of walking and sitting up.
Glad you are recovering now, Will.
Talk to you Sunday on the chat.
All the best,
