Just something I was thinking about your recovery after the RC. Remember we are all different with different health issues. That is depending on things that may have happened to you in the past. Myself I had 2 major surgeries and I was not the best of taking care of myself when I was younger good time Charlie lol. So you have to take into account alot of your past medical history. When you read someone is doing this or that we are all different and after my RC I had a couple of setbacks but luckily they all worked out. So you can’t really compare your recovery to someone elses. Just something to keep in mind if you read about anothers recovery progress. Joe :)

6 weeks is about the norm. I just started short trips, after 8 weeks, but I have this wound healing problem which is slowing me down.

Good point Joe, we can talk about recovery and how it went for us, but the issue is you have to have after care, take no risks, (like driving a car before your told),LET YOUR BODY GUIDE YOU WITH THE REST AND THE WALKING,
Then the other health issues would be a consideration, and your age. There are many experiences shared on this forum about recovery, the good the bad and the ugly comes to mind,,its as individual as the pateint, and the surgeon. PAY ATTENTION AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! Ginger
