A few months ago I posted that I had cyctitis like feelings but my doctors kept saying all urine results i.e. cytology and checking for blood came back normal. I gave up after a while and thought Im just going round in circles may as well wait until my next check up.

Well finally had this done yesterday and what a surprise it wasnt my imagination. They have found a new ‘papillary lession’ at the neck of the bladder. Thjey couldnt do anythong about it yesterday as I had a flexible cystoscope, so now booked in for 8th Jan for rigid and another TURBT. So I am really fed up with this news. I first mentioned to my GPs practice that I had a funny feeling back in August, had numerous urine tests and vaginal swabs (these ones were done by a GP who wasnt really interested in my bc but was convinced |I had picked up something nasty from my partner (lol). I have to laugh otherwise I would cry.

Still thats life. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all.

    Love

    Sally

Good and bad in every profession. I been seeing my PD for close to 14 years for my scripts etc. We have become like friends shoot the breeze about different things that men do and still take care of business. This guy take his shirt off his back to help me out and vice versa on my part. He does not rush you through your visit why I always try to get his first appt of the day when I have to go lol so I don’t have to wait. Not many Dr’s left like this guy that actually cares about his patients and will spend time with you not just the 5-10 min visit wham bam get him out of here deal. Joe ;)

Sorry to hear your news Sally. I am a great believer in going by your instinct and after all you know your body better than your GP and were proved right.

Let me guess ……..was it a male GP? Typical case of women and the medical model, further insulting you by the appalling suggestion that your symptoms originated from your partner. The more I hear of these incompetent doctors the angrier I get at the system!

Moving on ……….. Hope all goes well for your TURB. Good luck

Keep laughing at him …….not with him!!!!

Enjoy your Christmas and New Year x
