    Hello,
If anyone here needs to ask questions about this procedure, please feel free to email me. I had mine soon to be 10 yrs. ago. I will gladly answer any questions about my experience before, during and after surgery including the recovery period.

hello, I will be having the RC on Friday March 2, 2007 in Sloan Kettering, NYC.  Needless to say I am feeling very overwhelmed and can’t believe this is happening to me.  I cried many tears and I grieve for my bladder all the time.
Questions: How are you doing with the pouch?  any regrets? how often do you wake up at night to empty pouch?  is it difficult? do you wear a watch to wake you?  has it leaked out?  has it ever blocked up?  Ellen  :-*

trying to learn how to take one day at a time.

Same here. I’m 48 years old and have had my Indiana pouch one year this month (October, 2006). I will be more than happy to answer ANY questions, physical and emotional. I know how overwhelming the ordeal is. May God bless you.
