Quick Update on my dad
Hi all, and thanks for all your advice recently regarding my dad who has stage 4 bladder cancer spread to local lymph nodes
My dad had a CT scan after cycle 3 of his gemb/cisplat treatment but unfortunately the results were not back when he started cycle 4 last week. The consultant rang him later in the week to say that the cancer was shrinking, and his recommendation was to continue with the treatment
We are very pleased, but hopefully will get some more detailed info when we see the consultant at the start of cycle 5 (8th October)
Dad is feeling a bit under the weather, run down, tired, aching leg, sore foot?, and his veins have gone into hiding – but he is coping really well, and we feel sure that he will be able to finish his last two cycles, will let you know when we have more info on how much progress the chemo is having

Great News! The cancer is shrinking!!!That is the news we are hoping for too in a few weeks!
